Second Photo Exhibition
May 2024

Following the exhibition at Museum Oberschönenfeld, my photo series was shown once again – this time at the Museum Hammerschmiede and Stockerhof Naichen. Presented in a new spatial and curatorial setting, the portraits invited visitors to pause and connect with the individuality and dignity of animals we often overlook. I am grateful that the series continued its journey in this special place, again made possible by the wonderful team at Museum Oberschönenfeld.

Business Transformation Coach
June 2023
In March 2024, I completed my certification as a Business Transformation Coach (Univ.). This training allowed me to deepen my understanding of systemic change, values-based leadership, and the human dimensions of transformation. For me, coaching is not about quick fixes – it’s about creating reflective spaces where people can reconnect with what really matters, find clarity in complexity, and act with intention.
In times of ecological and social upheaval, I want to support individuals, teams, and organizations in developing new ways of thinking, working, and relating – grounded in vision, trust, and responsibility.
Wahooo! I'm officially a freediving trainer!
March 2023
In 2023, I completed my Trainer C Apnoe certification with the German Diving Association (VDST). This foundational course in freediving education focused on safety, technique, and didactic principles – and provided me with a framework to share my fascination for conscious breathing, underwater presence, and our oceans. Freediving, for me, is not about performance but rather about presence. It opens subtle spaces of awareness and calm, where trust, focus, and self-regulation become embodied experiences. With this background, I aim to support learning environments where transformation emerges not through instruction, but through experience – especially in relation to the natural world.
Scholarship for my PhD Project!
June 2022
In 2022, I was awarded a PhD fellowship by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). The fellowship supports my research on ethical education for sustainable consumption – a project that investigates how people develop ethical competencies to navigate complexity, reflect on their role in systemic challenges, and engage with sustainability in meaningful ways. I am very grateful for this opportunity to explore how environmental ethics, social science, and educational practice can come together to support socio-ecological transformation – not just intellectually, but also personally and collectively.
(Re)Thinking Environment
October 2021
Today I received my official affiliation as a PhD candidate in the international doctoral college “(Re)Thinking Environment – The Environmental Humanities and the Ecological Transformation of Society”. The program brings together researchers who explore how the ecological crisis challenges our ways of living, thinking, and acting – across disciplines and cultural contexts. My dissertation focuses on ethical education for sustainable consumption and the development of competencies that enable people to navigate complexity and act with responsibility. Being part of this inspiring academic network offers valuable perspectives and dialogue for my work – and reminds me that meaningful transformation always starts with rethinking what it means to be human in a changing world.
Launched my PhD Project
June 2021
Today I officially launched my PhD project – a quiet milestone that marks the beginning of a long and often uncomfortable journey into the heart of our planetary crisis. My research asks how we, as individuals and societies, can develop the ethical orientation, critical awareness, and inner resilience to respond to the destruction we are part of – and too often help accelerate. The project weaves together questions of environmental ethics, sustainability education, and the cultural foundations of consumption. It’s driven by the conviction that the ecological crisis is not just a technical or political challenge, but a deeply human one – and that avoiding the collapse of life-supporting systems will require more than innovation: it will require courage, humility, and a radical shift in how we see ourselves in relation to the living world.
New Office Buddy On Board
April 2021
After the sudden loss of my mother in late 2020 – a deeply painful turning point in my life – this little soul found her way to me: Suki. She arrived from a Romanian shelter in early 2021, after what must have been a terrifying journey in a dark and crowded transport van. When she first came home, she was shy, silent, and distant – staring blankly into space, unsure whether to trust or hope. But step by step, she began to understand that she was safe. That I was her home now. Today, Suki is a bright, wild, and endlessly charming companion who fills my days with movement, laughter, and muddy footprints. She reminds me every day that healing is possible – and that even in grief, there’s space for joy to grow again.
Designed My First Card Game
March 2021
For the Bavarian Association for Landscape Management (DVL), I had the chance to create my very first card game as part of the Bayerns UrEinwohner project. And yes – it was seriously cool. I developed the concept, wrote the content, designed the layout, created the rules, and coordinated the production all the way to the final print. The game combines playful learning with essential facts about biodiversity and species protection in Bavaria. Seeing it come to life – and knowing it’s now being used to spark curiosity and conversation – makes me incredibly proud.
Photo Exhibition
March 2020
The Museum Oberschönenfeld invited me to create a portrait series of animals for their exhibition Zum Fressen gern – Tiere und ihre Menschen. The result is a photo series in which the animals appear with astonishing presence and self-awareness – almost as if they became human in front of the camera lens. It was a pleasure to encounter such confident and impressive animal personalities, even though the photographic process wasn’t always easy: stables, barns, and even bathrooms had to be turned into animal-friendly photo studios.
Received My Master's Diploma
September 2019
In 2020, I completed my Master’s degree in Environmental Ethics at the University of Augsburg – a study program that deepened my understanding of the ethical dimensions of sustainability, environmental education, and human-nature relationships. Throughout the program, I explored how values, worldviews, and social structures shape our ecological footprint – and how education can become a transformative force in the face of the climate and biodiversity crises. My thesis project, Plastikodyssee, combined these questions with practical outreach, aiming to support sustainability learning in everyday contexts. Receiving this diploma marked not just the end of a chapter, but the beginning of a research and communication path that I’m still walking today – with growing passion and commitment.
MY Master Thesis' Project is online
August 2019
With great joy, I can now share that my Master’s thesis project Plastikodyssee is live and accessible online. The educational platform was developed as part of my thesis in environmental ethics and sustainability education, aiming to inspire children and adults alike to engage with the issue of plastic pollution – and to rethink their everyday actions.
Plastikodyssee combines environmental education with creative approaches and practical tools for reducing plastic waste. Based on the five pillars of sustainable environmental education (emotionalise – inform – reflect – motivate – implement), the platform guides users through a five-level journey that goes far beyond facts and figures. It encourages personal reflection, critical thinking, and the development of everyday alternatives – whether in classrooms, youth groups, offices, or individual settings.
With downloadable resources and a free script to accompany the journey, Plastikodyssee supports building future competencies and strengthens the capacity to act in line with sustainability – not through pressure or guilt, but through insight, curiosity, and playful learning.
completed my journalism training
January 2018
Alongside my Master’s studies in Environmental Ethics, I completed a journalism training program at the Freie Journalistenschule in Berlin. The program provided a solid foundation in journalistic research, storytelling, and editorial practice – with a strong focus on writing for complex topics in science, society, and sustainability. This qualification deepened my ability to communicate nuanced content clearly, accessibly, and with a sense of ethical responsibility. It continues to shape the way I develop science communication formats, tell environmental stories, and build bridges between knowledge and action.
