Never before has our world faced such rapid and intense CHANGE. Given the growing complexity of our society’s functioning principles and knowledge systems, communicating complex and ambivalent information is becoming increasingly difficult for political and educational institutions.
The growing diversity of our social environments challenges familiar habits and convenience. Rigid value systems can no longer cope with the daily negotiation processes we are facing in a globalized and digitalized world. At the same time populist forces all over the world are gaining strength because they pretend to bring back simplicity into people’s lives.
But the biggest drivers of change humanity is facing: CLIMATE CHANGE and extreme weather events, loss of BIODIVERSITY and fertility and the so caused numerous migrational flows all over the world require all the visionaries and creativity we can come up with.
What a changing society needs, however, is the development of TRANSFORMATIVE SKILLS that enable people to constructively engage in the negotiation and design processes we need if we want to preserve our magnificent HABITAT EARTH for future generations. These include: education, values, language, democratic and critical decision making and participation, knowledge of the natural processes of life and how they are affected by human activities. Emotional and social skills, ethical thinking and everything that enables us to develop our full potential as humanity.
And we need people with the courage to develop and realize IDEAS and VISIONS of how our society can thrive within planetary boundaries and provide a life worth living for any human and more than human being.
My mission is to contribute to this challenge with my expertise as an author, photographer and coach and open peoples eyes on why we have to ACT NOW. Drawing together my academic training with my creativity and imagination, I want to provide my customers with new kinds of access to learning and growth, from individual to community.
